7 Week Session @ MHS; Starts in January; Wednesdays 7-9 PM Or Saturday 10-Noon; $175 Total

Session 1 - Students take ACT® pretest and learn test-taking strategies

Session 2 - Focus on English content area

Session 3 - Focus on Math content area

Session 4 - Focus on Math content area

Session 5 - Focus on Reading/Writing content area

Session 6 - Focus on Science content area

Session 7 - 3-1/2 hour practice ACT® test

In-School ACT Prep Course

In lieu of your study hall during Quarters 1, 2, or 3, junior students are able to take a FREE ACT Prep Course with a licensed teacher. 

Students labeled “in need of intervention” on the PreACT are strongly recommended to take the course. 

Methodize - A full suite of ACT lessons, quizzes, and practice tests. Students can login and access Methodize by logging into Xello on their student sign-on page. 

 MyACT - Create a free account with your school address to access free full-length online tests and purchase additional study materials.

 Kaplan Prep - Kaplan offers free half-length practice tests, ACT pop quizzes, and a question of the day. 

They also offer FREE online classes. 

ACT Study Guide - Download the free annual 75 page study guide as well as free practice tests and questions at ACT.org.

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction - The Wisconsin DPI has organized several free ACT practice tests and guides.

Practice Tests - A collection of dozens of ACT tests from over the years in PDF form. As a reminder, these test formats will differ from the changes seen in the 2026 ACT tests. 

ACT Online Practice Questions - Familiarize yourself with the ACT's new look and feel by trying a few sample questions as well as a full-length practice test in the new format. Get to know the platform and exactly what to expect on test day.
