College Credit Offerings
Mukwonago High School is committed to preparing students for success beyond graduation. One way we do this is by offering multiple pathways for students to earn college credit while still in high school. These opportunities not only challenge students academically but also save families time and money on future tuition costs.
-
Advanced Placement (AP): Students take rigorous, nationally recognized courses and exams that may translate into college credit at universities across the country.
-
College Level Examination Program (CLEP): With strong preparation through our curriculum, students can demonstrate their knowledge on CLEP exams and earn college credit by exam.
-
Dual Enrollment: Juniors and seniors may enroll in college-level courses while still at MHS, gaining real-world college experience and transferable credit.
-
Project Lead the Way (PLTW): Our nationally recognized PLTW pathways in engineering, biomedical science, and computer science combine hands-on learning with the chance to earn college credit from participating universities.
-
Transcripted Credit: In partnership with technical colleges, students earn credit that is placed directly on a college transcript, ensuring a seamless transition to postsecondary education.
-
UW–Green Bay’s College Credit in High School: Through this partnership, MHS students earn University of Wisconsin–Green Bay credits for designated courses taken right here on campus.
By providing these diverse opportunities, MHS ensures that students are better prepared for higher education, have the ability to reduce future college costs, and can confidently take the next step in their academic journey.
